Coach Capaci has coached the Gospel Light Lions high school basketball team for over fifteen years. He has led them in winning seven state championships over the course of his coaching career. Champion is excited about the future of the Tiger basketball program under the leadership of Coach Capaci.

In its short six year career, the Champion Tigers have made six ACCA National Tournament appearances. They have won three National Championships in 2007, 2009, and 2010. Champion has produced one ACCA Player of the year, two ACCA tournament MVPs, five different All-Tournament team players, four ACCA All-Americans, and fifteen different ACCA Academic All-Americans.
